Rott N Garlic Cookies

1 cup Oatmeal (raw)
1/3 cup margarine
2 bouillon cubes
2 or 3 cloves garlic
1 1/2 cup HOT water
3/4 cup powdered milk
3/4 cup cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
3 cup flour (wheat or plain)
Dissolve bouillon in hot water. Put into blender with garlic.
Puree until garlic is chopped very fine. In large bowl,
pour water mixture over Oatmeal and margarine. Let stand 5
minutes.
Stir in powdered milk, cornmeal and egg. Add flour, 1/2 cup
at a time, mixing well after each. Knead 3 or 4 minutes. Add
more flour if necessary to make a very stiff dough.
Pat or roll dough to 1/2" thickness. Cut into shapes and
place on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes at
325 degrees.
Let cool and dry thoroughly if you are going to freeze.
Optional ingredients:
+ Meat stock, in place of water and bouillon.
+ Meat fat instead of margarine.
+ Blended boiled liver, shredded cheese, or peanut
butter makes for flavorful variations.
Makes approximately 2 pounds cookies.
Bagna Cauda #1
1 1/2 cups peeled garlic cloves
1 1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil
2 oz bugger
1 2oz tin of anchovies
Place all ingredients in oven casserole, cover and place in
275 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with bread and cup up
vegtables.

Garlic Chip Cookies
10 cloves fresh garlic
1 tsp vanilla
boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c maple syrup
2-1/4 c chocolate chips (I prefer milk choc.)
1 c soft butter
1/2 c chopped nuts (you choose)
3/4 c brown sugar
2-1/2 c flour
3/4 c sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
Drop garlic into small pot of boiling water for about 5
min ,then peel and mince garlic and soak in maple syrup
about 20 min. While it's soaking, cream butter, sugars, eggs
and vanilla together until light and fluffy. Mix together
flour,baking soda and salt. Then add to cream mixture. Then
stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drain garlic and add to
cookie batter, mix well. Drop batter by spoon onto ungreased
cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Then bake at 375 for about
10 min until lightly browned. Then let them cool and enjoy(I
gotta have some while they are warm).
WARNING: Don't tell anybody what's in them until after they
have tried them,garlic in cookies doesn't sound good but they
are wonderfull, that's the beauty of the STINKIN ROSE. You
can adjust garlic more or less but start with 10 cloves, it
really is mellow in flavor.
